Bob Brennan, an associate at the firm,
has been admitted to the Connecticut Bar since 1979. He
is also admitted to the Federal Court for the District
of Connecticut and to the Pennsylvania Bar. His practice
is focused on workers' compensation, civil litigation and
Social Security claims. In over twenty five years of
practice, Bob has tried numerous workers' compensation cases involving
occupational disease, cancer, intoxication, assaults,
and accidents while traveling. He has lectured to
attorneys, insurance claims adjusters, vocational
experts and loss prevention personnel. He has appeared
at hundreds of workers' compensation hearings in all districts and argued
numerous appeals before the Workers' Compensation Review
Board and the Appellate Court. He has successfully tried
jury cases in many Connecticut courts and has used
alternative dispute resolution forums including
arbitration and mediation to the benefit of his clients. He has extensive experience in negligence cases
including auto accidents, tractor-trailer wrecks, and
slip and fall claims.
Bob was raised in West Haven, graduating
from Notre Dame High. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in
History from Villanova University in 1976 and his law
degree from The University of Connecticut in 1979. He is
a member of the Workers Compensation section of the
Connecticut Bar Association. Bob lives in West Hartford
with his wife Lisa and their three children. Bob has
been involved in youth activities in his town,
volunteered as an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of
America, was elected to two terms on his parish council,
and spends his spare time golfing, reading history, and
exercising.
